As part of its Social Science Program, the NPS uses a programmatic review process to manage the PRA process for information collections needed to provide park managers with data for improving the quality and utility of NPS programs. Many of the NPS surveys are similar in terms of the populations being surveyed, the types of questions being asked, and the research methods used.
