This information will be used to ensure long term sustainability of these fisheries. This survey is completely voluntary and your responses will remain anonymous. The survey will take approximately five minutes to complete. The information you provide us and your opinion is very important. Would be willing to help us today?

TOPIC AREA 3 – ACT 3 (variation) - this question is needed to provide an estimation of the type of fishing gear that is being used at Silver Salmon Creek/Crescent Lake. This will enable managers to characterize and assess the impacts of different gear types on the fishery.
5. What type of fishing gear did you use today? ___________
Fly Spin Both Refused to respond
TOPIC AREA 3 – ACT 3 (variation) - this question is to better characterize the fishery over the season. This will be used by managers to assess changes in the fishery over time.

8. May I measure the fish you harvested today? This information will be used to assess size variation among species.
Yes Measure and record fork length of harvested species.
No Proceed to question 7.
TOPIC AREA 3: ACT 3 (variation) - this question is needed to provide a baseline collection of genetic variability of targeted fish populations. This information will be added to a statewide database of salmon genetics and used to manage the commercial fisheries for these stocks in the marine environment, outside of the park boundary.
9. May I collect a tissue sample (fin clip) from the fish you harvested today? This information will be used to assess genetic variability among and between different fish populations.
Yes Collect fin clip from harvested species and record on datasheet.
No End of Survey.
