We calculated the annual hour
burden based on the number of new firms with 15 or more employees
that enter the market annually. Using 2006 data from the Small
Business Administration, we estimated that there are 7,057 more
firms that would incur costs pertaining to the Act than there were
at the time of our previous approval. The increase in nunber of
firms would result in a corresponding burden increase of 1,331
hours.
