SBA Form 1405 is used by SBA examiners
as part of their initial examination of newly licensed SBICs. This
information collection provides independent third party
confirmation of the SBICs representations regarding its owners. The
information collection also assists SBA in evaluating an SBICs
regulatory compliance and financial integrity as required under the
Small Business Investment Act of 1958, as amended (15 USC 687b et.
seq.).
