Abstract: Section 14(a)(2) of the Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA), 15 U.S.C.2063(a)(2)requires manufacturers and private labelers of any children's product that is subject to a children's product safety rule to submit samples of the product, or samples that are identical in all material to the product to a third party conformity assessment body accredited by the CPSC to be tested for compliance with such children's product safety rule.
