Non-substantive Change Request
(0535-0002) Oregon Grass Seed Forecast Survey
NASS is currently approved to conduct the Oregon Grass Seed Forecast survey annually. NASS conducts this survey under a cooperative agreement with the Oregon State Dept. of Agriculture, and the grass seed associations of Oregon. The cooperators have inquired about adding two additional questions to the survey to better define the data that is already being collected. They would like to add:
How many acres of seed are under contract in 2019?
How many acres were or will be irrigated for the 2019 crop?
The sample size will remain the same (approximately 700), but there will be an expected overall increase in respondent burden of 28 hours.
