In support an emergent,
high-visibility requirement directed in Secretary of Defense
Memorandum, “Immediate Actions to Counter Sexual Assault and
Harassment and the Establishment of a 90-Day Independent Review
Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military,” February 26, 2021.
Immediate Action 2 directs the Under Secretary of Defense for
Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)) to develop a plan of action
and milestones to conduct high risk installation
evaluations.
To collect information
on Service members, DoD Civilians, and DoD contractors in
evaluating 20 high and low risk installations as directed in
Immediate Action 2 in the Secretary of Defense Memorandum,
“Immediate Actions to Counter Sexual Assault and Harassment and the
Establishment of a 90-Day Independent Review Commission on Sexual
Assault in the Military,” February 26, 2021. DOD requests emergency
processing and OMB authorization to collect the information after
publication of this notice for a period of six months.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
