This document is used by States to
request funds to administer the Independent Living Services for
Older Individuals Who are Blind (IL-OIB) program. The IL-OIB is
provided for under Title VII, Chapter 2 of the Rehabilitation Act
of 1973, as amended (Act) to assist individuals who are age 55 or
older whose significant visual impairment makes competitive
employment extremely difficult to attain but for whom independent
living goals are feasible.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
