This information collection allows the Department to implement law that authorizes the Secretary to enter into Tribal Energy Resource Agreements (TERAs) with Indian Tribes. See 25 U.S.C. 3501 et. seq. TERA promote Tribal oversight and management of energy and mineral resource development on Tribal lands and further the goal of Indian self-determination.
