In accordance with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for three years. The annual burden hours have significantly decreased from the most recent clearance three years ago, primarily due to the reduction of one large burden, decreasing the estimated burden hours by 225,166 (number of respondents remains unchanged) associated with the Property clause, because DOE has begun using time-saving asset management software. The annual estimated number of responses and annual burden hours have also decreased due to elimination of one burden, decreasing the number of respondents by 60 and the estimatedburden hours by 200 associated with the Key Personnel (Management Contracts) clause, which was removed from the DEAR since the previous clearance. Lastly, these numbers have decreased due to elimination of a duplicate, small burden decreasing the number of respondents by 10 and the estimated burden hours by 10 associated with the Government Facility Subcontract Approval clause. This burden was erroneously listed twice in the PROCUREMENT BURDENS – OMB CONTROL NO. 1910-4100 document for the clearance three years ago. The overall number of respondents has decreased from 7,539 to 7,469 and the total burden hours have decreased from 896,209 to 670,833.
