Executive Order 12862 directs Federal
agencies to provide service to the public that matches or exceeds
the best service available in the private sector. In order to work
continuously to ensure that our programs are effective and meet our
customers' needs, the U.S. International Trade Commission seeks to
obtain OMB approval of a generic clearance to collect qualitative
feedback on our service delivery. For further background see OMB
Memorandum M-11-26 (June 15, 2011).

With the success of past
customer service feedback questionnaires the Commission anticipates
asking for comments on different programs. While the absolute
number of possible respondents has increased the time to complete
the questionnaires has decreased; reducing the total number of
burden hours.
