The Transparency Act requires
information disclosure of entities receiving Federal financial
assistance through Federal awards such as Federal contracts,
sub-contracts, grants, and sub-grants, FFATA § 2(a)(2)(i),
(ii).
The reason why there is a
reduction in burden is that there were a total number of responses
(subaward and Executive Compensation) of 296,978 versus the
previous 493,080. The time required is reduced due the
implementation of Executive Compensation requirements in the System
for Award Management which then communicates the data.
