A SYSTEM FOR AIA TRIALS
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is building the Patent Review Processing
System (PRPS) to support electronic filing in the trial proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal
Board (PTAB), particularly the new trials created in the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act, Pub. L. 112-29
(2011). You can gain experience with this new system prior to its public release, while helping the
USPTO refine the system, by enrolling as a focus group participant.*
