The selection of your targeted respondents

  1. Do you have a customer list or something similar that defines the universe of potential respondents and do you have a sampling plan for selecting from this universe?

[ ] Yes [x ] No

If the answer is yes, please provide a description of both below (or attach the sampling plan)? If the answer is no, please provide a description of how you plan to identify your potential group of respondents and how you will select them?

Approximately 1,000 Emergency Managers and first responders will attend the conference. We anticipate 25% of these respondents will participate in the polling (250 individuals). The respondent breakdown displayed in the burden table represents a typical distribution of the Emergency Managers and first responders that will attend the conference, the majority of whom are with state/tribal/local government. For that reason, we assume that approximately 80 percent of respondents (200 of 250 respondents) will be these individuals, and the remainder will be federal employees (10 percent or 25 respondents) and private sector employees (10 percent or

25 respondents).

We will also have paper forms available if a respondent does not have a smartphone or PDA, and their choices will be entered into Poll Everywhere. Only the aggregate results will be sent to us.
