OSHA has published, at 29 CFR Part 1926, Subpart V, a revision to the standards covering construction work involving electric power transmission and distribution lines and equipment, and published, at 29 CFR 1910.269, a revision to the standard covering general industry work involving electric power generation, transmission, and distribution lines and equipment. The Agency also will publish, at 29 CFR 1926.97, a new standard covering electrical protective equipment for construction work, and, at 29 CFR 1910.137, a revision to the corresponding standard covering general industry work. This rulemaking will add 452,091 new burden hours.
