information collection provisions associated with the Electric
Power Transmission and Distribution Standard for Construction and
Electrical Protective Equipment proposed rule are not approved at
this time. OSHA will examine public comment in response to the NPRM
and will describe in the preamble of the final rule how the agency
has maximized the practical utility of the collections and
minimized their burden.

The information collection
requirements specified in the Electrical Power Transmission and
Distribution Standard for Construction and the Electric Power
Transmission and Distribution Standard provide employees with safe
work practices that guard against exposure to electrical shock
hazards in workplace.
