Justification for Non-Substantive Changes to the SSA-L725

SSA is eliminating signatures on forms for which law or regulation does not require the signature, and which do not have a perjury statement, or require systems changes. Based on this, we are revising form SSA-L725, Letter to the Employer Requesting Information about Wages Earned by Beneficiary, by eliminating the word “signature” and replacing it with the word “name.”
