Pursuant to the Broadband Data
Improvement Act (PL 110-385 Sec. (105)), the U.S. Small Business
Administration, Office of Advocacy has been directed by Congress to
conduct a study evaluating the impact of broadband speed and price
on small businesses in both rural and urban areas. Advocacy is
further instructed to submit a report to the Senate Committee on
Commerce, Science, and Transportation; the Senate Committee on
Small Business and Entrepreneurship; the House of Representatives
Committee on Energy and Commerce; and the House of Representatives
Committee on Small Business containing the results of the study.
This report is due to Congress by October 10, 2010.
