The Federal Trade Commission intends to conduct consumer survey research of experiences of identity theft victims who interact with consumer reporting agencies and who seek to avail themselves of their FCRA remedies. Such consumer research is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of the Fair Credit Reporting Act rights provided to victims of identity theft.
