National Drug Threat Assessment is an
assessment of federal, state, and local law enforcement information
combined with drug treatment information to determine the extent of
the illegal drug problem in the United States.
The reduction in annual
reporting and recordkeeping cost burden from 26.3 thousand dollars
to 17.3 thousand dollars is result of a reduction in the complexity
of the survey instrument that resulted in a reduction of the annual
reporting and recordkeeping hour burden as requested and approved
in September, 2005.
