The information to be collected,
pursuant to President Bush's Memorandum of January 22, 2001 calling
for the restoration of the Mexico City Policy, is (1) the
certification of foreign non- governmental organizations (NGOs)
schedule to receive population assistance funds that they will not
engage in abortion-related activities prohibited under the policy;
and (2) the requirement that US organizations and foreign NGOs with
whom USAID has relationships to collect such certifications from
the organiza- tions that are subject to the requirements.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
