The information to be collected,
pursuant to President Bush's Memorandum of January 22, 2001,
calling for the restoration of the Mexico City Policy, is (1) the
certification of foreign nongovernmental organizations (NGOs)
scheduled to receive population assisance funds that they will not
engage in abortion- related activities prohibited under the policy;
and (2) the requirement that U.S. organizations and foreign NGOs
with whom USAID has relationships to collect such certifications
from the organizations that are subject to the
requirements.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
