This ICR is
approved pursuant to 5 CFR 1320. However, upon renew al of this ICR
EPA should consult with OMB regarding two issues. First, EPA should
verify that labor rates used reflect both compe nsation-related
benefits (such as paid leave, health insurance, e tc.), as well as
overhead. Second, EPA should investigate whethe r requirements such
as the reading of the regulation by existing sources needs to be
accounted for annually.

The New Source Performance Standards
(NSPS) for Metallic Mineral Processing Plants, subpart LL, were
proposed on August 24, 1982, and promulgated on February 21, 1984.
These standards apply to the following facilities in Metallic
Mineral Processing Plants: Each crusher and screen in open-pit
mines; each crusher, screen, bucket elevator, conveyor belt
transfer point, thermal dryer, product packaging stations, storage
bin, enclosed storage area, truck loading and unloading station at
the mill or concentrator, commencing construction, modification, or
reconstruction after the date of proposal.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
