Abstract: HUD needs occupancy information to monitor the rate and extent at which the Low-Income Public Housing Program is being used by Housing Agencies (HAs) to assist low-income families. Form HUD-51234 is submitted by HAs and provides HUD officials, field offices, and headquarters occupancy information for monitoring units. Occupancy reports are provided to the President and Congress as requested.
