Abstract: Recently, Congress passed legislation (P.L. 204-104) mandating the VA to provide health care to the children of Vietnam veterans with spina bifida. These collections of information enable the VA to appropriately pay providers for the services rendered to these children. Recordkeeping is required in order for the VA to be able to verify and document those services.
