Abstract: The Fair Packing and Labeling Act Regulation (16 CFR 500) establishes requirements for the manner and form of labeling consumer commodities. The regulation requires disclosure of contents and responsibile company. It also requires manufacturers, packagers, distributors, and retailers of consumer commodities to retain records to show compliance with the regulation.
