The Fair Packaging and Labeling Act
Regulation (16 C.F.R. 500) establishes requirements for the manner
and form of labeling consumer commodities. The Regulation requires
disclosure of contents and responsible company. It also requires
manufacturers, packagers, distributors, and retailers of consumer
commodities to retain records to show compliance with the
Regulation.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
