Abstract: The Fair Packaging and Labeling Act Regulation (16 C.F.R. 500) establishes requirements for the manner and form of labeling consumer commodities. The Regulation requires disclosure of contents and responsible company. It also requires manufacturers, packagers, distributors, and retailers of consumer commodities to retain records to show compliance with the Regulation.
