Abstract: The Funeral Rule (16 C.F.R. 453) requires providers of funeral goods and services to disclose price lists for individual funeral goods and services and provide statements regarding price and basic funeral-related legal requirements. It also requires funeral providers to retain records concerning the prices of items offered and other information concerning funerals offered to consumers and prospective consumers.
