Abstract: MARKET' THE PROGRAM PROVIDES A MEANS BY WHICH NUTRITIONALLY AT-RISK WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN CAN PURCHASE FRESH PRODUCE. THE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTS WIC FOOD PACKAGES AND ENHANCES WIC'S ABILITY TO IMPROVE THE NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF PARTICIPANTS. BENEFITS ARE OBTAINED THROUGH FARMERS AND FARMERS' MARKETS. IT IS ADMINISTERED BY STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.
