MARINE CASUALTY INFORMATION COLLECTION
IS NECESSARY FOR INFORMING THE THE COAST GUARD OF COMMERCIAL VESSEL
CASUALTIES INVOLVING DEATH, SERIO INJURY, MATERIAL LOSS OF VESSELS,
OR THE SEAWORTHINESS OF VESSELS AS MANDATED BY CONGRESS. CHEMICAL
TESTING INFORMATION COLLECTION IS NECESSARY FOR IMPROVING THE COAST
GUARD'S CAPABILITY TO DETECT/REDUCE DRUG USE BY MARINERS.
