OMB notes that
OMB approval for this information collection expired on 8/31/91.
HUD has violated the Paperwork Reduction Act (5 CFR 1320.4) which
states that, "An agency shall not engage in a collection of
information without obtaining Office of Management and Budget
approval of the collection of information and displaying a
currently valid OMB control number..." In addition, HUD should
consider whether the current $50 monthly incom threshold, overwhich
a resident must recertify their income, is still appropriate given
inflation, since the regulation was written in 1976.
