agreed to meet the following conditions: -- ED shall propose a
strategy for verifying student-reported financia aid data, and
shall submit this proposal for OMB review by July 1, 199 -- ED's
training of interviewers shall include instructions that furth
specify the meaning of "principal schools" in item B.7, and that
note that living arragements in item C.1.c(3) also include living
alone or with roommates. -- Analysis and reports of data on
academic progress shall compare student performance to "average" or
"expected" rates of progress, not "normal" rates. -- In Section E,
ED shall collect data on respondent experiences and completion
status for other education and training if that training is related
to current or prospective employment, and if so if the trainin is a
requirement or simply an option. -- All letters used during
administration of this survey shall be sign or co-signed by the
appropriate official from ED, rather than only by the
contractor.

STUDENTS IN ACADEMIC YEAR 1989-90 (FULL-SCALE SURVEY): USING AS A
BASE THE NPSAS:90 SAMPLES. INFORMATI ABOUT 11,700 FULL-SCALE
STUDENTS WILL BE COLLECTED THROUGH CATI.
