REGARDING APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR EXEMPTION FROM PROHIBITED
TRANSACTIONS UNDER FERSA (SHORT TITLE - FERSA EXEMPTION
PROCEDURE)
Reinstatement with change of a previously approved collection
THIS INTERIM RULE ADOPTS, FOR PURPOSES
OF THE FEDERAL EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM ACT (FERSA), THE
PROHIBITED TRANSACTION EXEMPTION APPLICATION PROCEDURES UNDER THE
EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT INCOME SECURITY ACT (ERISA). THIS RULE IS BEING
PUBLISHED TO COMPLY WITH THE CONGRESSIONAL MANDATE TO PROMULGATE A
FERSA EXEMPTION PROCEDURES BY DECEMBER 31, 1988.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
