TRANSACTIONS UNDER FERSA (SHORT TITLE - FERSA EXEMPTION
PROCEDURE)

THIS INTERIM FINAL REGULATION ADOPTS,
FOR PURPOSES OF THE FEDERAL EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM ACT
(FERSA), THE PROHIBITED TRANSACTION EXEMPTION APPLICATION PROCEDURE
UNDER THE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT INCOME SECURITY AC (ERISA). THIS RULE
WILL PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SEEK ADMINISTRATIVE RELIEF FROM THE
RESTRICTIONS OF FERSA'S PROHIBITED TRANSACTION PROVISIONS.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
