Abstract: STATE REGULATE INTRASTATE COMMERCE OF PRODUCTS REGULATED AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL BY FDA. CONSEQUENTLY, STATE AGENCIES AND FDA OFTEN DEAL WITH THE SAME PUBLIC AND INDUSTRIES, FREQUENTLY ENCOUNTERING SIMILAR PROBLEMS. STATE DATA BEING COLLECTED CAN BE CORRELATED TO FDA'S PROGRAMMATIC APPROACH TO REGULATION, PROVIDING SOME MEASURE OF COMPARABILITY OF FDA AND STATE PROGRAMS.
