PRODUCTS THAT ARE REGULATED AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL BY THE FDA.
CONSEQUENTLY, THE STATES AND FDA OFTEN DEAL WITH THE SAME PUBLIC
AND ENCOUNTER SIMILAR PROBLEMS. THE DATA BEING COLLECTED CAN BE
CORRELATED TO FDA'S PROGRAMMATIC APPROACH TO REGULATION, THEREBY
PROVIDING SOME MEASURE OF COMPARABILITY OF THE STATE AND FDA
PROGRAMS.
