The Department's
burden estimate for HUD form 52484 (4 hours to complete the entire
form) appears unrealistically low given the very detailed
information being requested. Consequently, OMB is increasing the
burden estimate for this form to 10 hours to reflect OMB's concerns
with the validity of the current burden estimate. (OMB's burden
estimate is 5 hours for each of the two portions of this form --
the development cost portion and the cost statement portion.) The
revised burden estimate for this information collection is 6563
hours. If HUD would like to request a reconsideration by OMB of the
burden estimate revision, HUD must present evidence to indicate the
actual burden borne by the public in preparing form 52484. HUD must
reflect the revised burden estimate in its burden disclosure
statement (required at 5 CFR 1320.21) that will be placed on form
52484.
