CHANGE ORDER IS NEEDED TO FORMALIZE A
CHANGE IN CONSTRUCTION OF A HOUSING PROJECT. IT DIRECTS A
CONTRACTOR TO ADD, DELETE OR SUBSTITUTE CERTAIN CONSTRUCTION
ELEMENTS AND ESTABLISHES A COST FOR THE WORK AND A TIMEFRAME FOR
COMPLETION. THE CHANGE IS PREPARED BY TH PROJECT ARCHITECT,
REVIEWED AND CONCURRED IN BY THE PHA, ACCEPTED BY THE CONTRACTOR
AND SUBMITTED TO HUD FOR APPROVAL.
