SAFETY STANDARDS IF THE VEHICLE WAS MANUFACTURED ON OR AFTER
JANUARY 1, 1968. IMPORTATION OF A NONCONFORMING VEHICLE (OR
EQUIPMENT) IS ALLOWED UNDER SPECIFIC EXCEPTIONS SUCH AS IMPORTATIO
UNDER BOND.
