Abstract: THE INTEGRATION OF CIVIL RIGHTS REVIEWS INTO THE MANAGEMENT EVALUATION (ME) REVIEW SYSTEM WILL ENSURE THAT PROJECT AREAS ARE IN COMPLIANCE WI THE REQUIREMENTS OF TITLE VI OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964. THE MONITORING OF CIVIL RIGHTS COMPLIANCE IN PROJECT AREAS BY STATE AGENCI THROUGH THE ME SYSTEM WILL ALSO ENSURE THAT DEFICIENCIES REQUIRING CORRECTIVE ACTION MEASURES ARE IDENTIFIED.
