Description of Agency Usage:
The information collected is used by the Department of Energy (DOE) to evaluate and ensure that authorized uses of DOE lands and facilities are in the public's interest and are compatible with the agency’s missions. The information helps DOE identify environmental and possible security risks. Compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) is required, but is not limited, as DOE has many missions that have different statutory requirements.
