The information is needed to assure Tribes' Class III gaming procedures are in accordance with Indian Gaming Regulatory Act requirements. An Indian Tribe may request that the Secretary of the Interior approve Class III gaming procedures if the Tribe was unable to voluntarily enter into a compact with a State to govern its gaming operations and the Tribe’s suit against the State was dismissed based on an Eleventh Amendment immunity defense.
The latest form for Class III Gaming Procedures, 25 CFR 291 expires 2022-01-31 and can be found here.
