The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is proposing to revise the regulation authorizing applications for reduction of rental, royalties, or minimum production requirements.. The proposed rule would have the effect of dividing a single, previously approved information collection activity into two activities. In addition, the proposed rule would reduce the total estimated burdens of control number 1004-0121. More generally, control number 1004-0121 authorizes the BLM to collect information that is necessary to manage leases on public lands for solid minerals other than coal and oil shale.
The latest form for Leasing of Solid Minerals Other Than Coal and Oil Shale (43 CFR 3500-3590) expires 2022-10-31 and can be found here.
