Abstract: The NLSY27 Pretest will include a purposive sample of youth aged 11–16 as of December 31, 2025, and their parents/caregivers. It will collect data for one extended quarter, or 17 weeks. This Pretest will provide critical information to the BLS to ensure the success of the NLSY27’s first round of collection, and in turn, the success of the future of the NLSY27 over the many subsequent rounds that are anticipated.
