The Administration of Psychotropic
Medication to Unaccompanied Children information collection
contains two (2) instruments that allow the Office of Refugee
Resettlement (ORR) to obtain informed consent from authorized
consenters and informed assent or agreement from unaccompanied
children for the administration of psychotropic medication. The
collection was last approved by OMB on January 10, 2025 and the
current expiration date is January 31, 2028. ORR proposes revisions
for both forms in this collection: Psychotropic Medication Informed
Consent (Form MMH-1) Psychotropic Medication Assent Notice (Form
MMH-2) ORR proposes the following: - Changing the information
collection title to Administration of Psychotropic Medication to
Unaccompanied Alien Children. - Revisions to bring both forms into
compliance with Executive Order 14168, Defending Women from Gender
Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal
Government. - Updating references to its Division of Health in Form
MMH-1 to reflect a recent organizational realignment that changed
the division’s name (update to Division of Health, DoH). - To
assist care providers in complying with the regulatory requirements
found in 45 CFR 410.1306 Language Access Services, ORR proposes
translating the forms into Spanish.
