VA has responded to a growing interest
from Veterans and their family members to plan for their burial
needs prior to death. This service is in line with VA's core values
to provide services in a caring manner and to alleviate distress,
along with improving our performance through the use of innovative
technologies. The PreNeed evaluation achieves the goal of getting
benefit data to users more quickly.
