SENDER: U.S. Census Bureau

SUBJECT LINE: Coming Soon – Respond to the Census Questionnaire!

Dear Resident:

Shortly after April 1, 2030, you will receive an email from the Census Bureau inviting you to respond to the 2030 Individual Census Questionnaire online.

When you receive the email, please go to the link and login with your unique Census ID to start the questionnaire. This is your personal ID and must not be shared with anyone. The questionnaire should only take about 5 minutes to complete.

The questionnaire will be used to count people who were living, staying. or receiving services in group quarters on April 1, 2030. Some examples of group quarters include college or university residence halls, group homes, residential treatment centers, and workers’ group living quarters.

We need your help to count everyone by providing basic information about all the adults, children, and babies living or staying at this facility. It’s quick, easy, and safe.

Many federal laws require the use of census data to distribute funding and monitor important programs that provide services to the community. States, cities, counties, and tribal governments use census data to plan future programs, services, and community development projects such as those for the older population, hospitals, libraries, and schools.

Please visit our website at <www.census.gov/gq/> for more information about the 2030 Census.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Robert L. Santos

Director
