The estimated annual time burden (in hours) increased due to an increase in the agency estimated number of respondents and the addition of necessary content more than offsetting the estimated net burden decrease across all instruments (I-485, Supplement A, and Supplement J). If the estimated respondent population remained unchanged and the necessary content was not added, USCIS estimates a savings of $1.3 million hours. With this Revision action, there was an increase in the total estimated annual out-of-pocket cost burden. This result stems from no change in costs due to a change in the Agency Estimate and an increase in costs due to Program Change.
