Per the Executive Order 14168, "Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government" VETS is updating collection 1293-0014 Competitive Grant Programs Reporting to meet current requirements collecting information on sex and is requesting a non-substantive change request.
VETS has updated the VETS-701 form’s Participant tab – Personal Information section as follows:
Edited the Sex (Assigned at Birth) field label to “Sex”
Edited the Sex field options to Male or Female
Removed the Gender Identity field
Removed the Sexual Orientation field
Removed the LGBTQIA+ field
