Per the Executive Order 14168, "Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government" Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) is updating this collection to meet current requirements collecting information on sex and requesting a non-substantive change request. VETS has updated OMB NO. 1293-0002 with the following changes:
Update to Section H, question 5 of the form 1010 to change the title of the ICR element to “Sex.”
Update to Section H, question of the form 1010 to include only options for “Female” and “Male.”
Update to Section L paragraph 3 to remove language referring to “Gender,” change references to “Sex,” and remove references to rescinded Executive Orders.
Update to instruction for Section H on the form 1010a to replace references to “Gender” with “Sex” and remove references to rescinded Executive Orders.
